btw, notice that paper by Shaw and Lewis, 2008? I wonder if they have noticed that ski slopes world-wide have been opening sooner, and staying open later, DUE TO ALL THE SNOW....!

It is true that I once looked at global warming with a sense of optimism, because I thought it would mean longer golf seasons!
