There's a longer story to this: There was a team of rowers last summer, who intended to be the first to Row the Northwest Passage. One of their supporters came by Steve Goddard's site often, screaming about a 'blowtorch' destroying the Arctic (ie, 'humans dun it!'). This rowing venture was being done to show how global warming was destroying the Arctic....

They made it 1/3 of the way. Lost their anchor to multi-year ice (which is not supposed to exist in the pro-'man-made' world). Kept having to hug the shore to avoid ice that wasn't supposed to be there. etc. etc. etc. etc. Etc....... in other words, Mother Nature did not do what they claimed it was doing.

To top things off, the Arctic summer ended a full month early, temperature-wise. The Northwest Passage went back to ice fairly fast, trapping 27 ships of various sizes- many of whom thought they could sail the NWP, due to 'man-made' global warming.

FAIL.

Humor... the one thing pro-'man-made' global warming True Believers, don't do, and can't handle.
