'The record demonstrates a warming during the Roman Warm Period (~ 350 BCE–450 CE), variable bottom water temperatures during the Dark Ages (~ 450–850 CE), positive bottom water temperature anomalies during the Viking Age/Medieval Climate Anomaly (~ 850–1350 CE) and a long-term cooling with distinct multidecadal variability during the Little Ice Age (~ 1350–1850 CE). The fjord BWT record also picks up the contemporary warming of the 20th century, which does not stand out in the 2500-year perspective and is of the same magnitude as the Roman Warm Period and the Medieval Climate Anomaly.'

I have bookmarked that paper, and will return down the road with graphics from it.
The gist of the above?
A) Warming within the last 140 years falls within the same range as the two previous warming cycles- that is to say, nothing unusual.
B) The record apparently shows (once I can get my hands on the graphics) that the MWP and LIA DID happen, despite claims made by michael mann using his 'nature trick' to Hide the Decline.
C) 'using a NE Atlantic coastal record ' - If as claimed, the whole globe is heating up- and the Arctic is heating twice as fast- then this research is taking place in the belt of latitudes which would begin to show the most change. And as it appears it shows Nothing Unusual....

Last item this morning, seeing as I should have been on chores over an hour ago... 'climate scientists' spent the early part of this past week shrieking 'HOTTEST DAYS EVAH!' Seems the 'record' they are comparing those days to, only goes back to 1979... and only varies by hundreths of a degree. That aside, The article includes the name of a global temperature website. And apparently the claimed global temperature is, well.... WAY THE HELL OFF. By something like 7 degrees F. http://temperature.global/ I believe said site may be useful in future arguments with sheep errrrr true believers in the Religion errrrrrrr idiots. Anyway.

He was a man who - through his eventual self-sacrifice - able to get many to freedom, from the Democrat-owned-and-run Plantation he was trapped in. Hmm... The only rational conclusion I can draw is that this paper should be set on fire in the hopes that doing so creates a substantial enough increase in warmth to warrant alarmism.
